Putting aside the fact that I personally am too religious/superstitious/afraid of bad karma or whatever you want to call it to wish him ill, it's bad news for us politically if he dies. Think about people like the woman in the Ohio focus group the other night who said she agreed with Trump's positions but wasn't sure if she could vote for him because of the way he behaves. People like that would probably have no trouble voting for Mike Pence. The last thing we want is for Trump to die in the next 5 weeks.

...but there are a lot of Trump-worshipers who think Pence is too much of a “beta” and have nothing but contempt for his religiosity. I think he’d be a lot easier to beat, as right-wing turnout would be seriously depressed.
