This has been on my mind all day. I watched a video on a gun control debate this morning

Most gun proponents seem to push the argument that gun-controls laws don't work therefore they shouldn't exist; people need to defend themselves; blah blah blah.

Basically, all I wanted to say is that I'm tired of the GOP argument that gun control laws don't work therefore we should do absolutely nothing and not try anything.

People kill. People cheat on taxes. People dump toxic waste into rivers.

Yes, the only answer is complete anarchy.

Fire alarm doesn't prevent all fire, so lets get rid of them?
Police don't prevent all theft or prevent all crimes, so lets get rid of them?

I can go on and on. It's the stupidest argument ever.

The most frustrating part is always something to the effect "people will find other ways to harm people. The Boston bomber didn't use a gun" blah blah blah

I don't want to live in a nation where any fool can have a gun.

In my family tradition fools and their guns are soon parted.

Facts kept in the dark and should be well-known:

Guns do make you, your family, less safe. http://tiny.cc/6hnysz
Crime was going down, despite his claims, until Trump, white supremacy, and his virus. http://tiny.cc/dhnysz
Assault weapons are unethical, weapons of war, and are an absolute danger to society http://tiny.cc/thnysz
Other Civil Societies have gun control (if not outright bans) and prosper http://tiny.cc/2inysz
Purposeful inaccurate reading of the 2nd Amendment http://tiny.cc/5inysz
In domestic violence-guns are very deadly https://assets.speakcdn.com/assets/2497/guns_and_dv0.pdf

The Fever:

Them people are coming for you, your job, your property...
Crime is rampant
Guns worship ads/technologies are directed at toxic male dominance
Making the world situation seem hopeless guns are all we got.
Big money made on the domestic (backside of military) weapons trade.

One confusing point I have had is if military weapons (assault rifles) are Constitutional why is 50 caliber illegal? And if they are called "arms" isn't anything called "arms" therefore legitimately Constitutional? If militia means everybody, or individual, why doesn't arms mean anything goes right to your wildest, darkest, deadliest desires?

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
