I think Trump's trying to spin his illness into a "see I told you it's not that bad" moment
to come off as a strong man, and also so people will believe his bullshit and go out with a mask. He desperately wants to heat up the economy and is lying to the public about how dangerous this is. Too bad his followers aren't going to have the level of care they are paying for him.

4. That may be his only play. But he has to recover to pull it off.
We will also hear, if we haven't already, that the safety measures were taken and they don't work, so open everything.

This went on for months
But why root for a variable with unknown impact? The standard campaign was working fine for Biden |

6. He's mocking Covid.
We'll see how Covid feels about that. Joking aside, he's mocking millions of Americans who've suffered and died of Covid because of substandard healthcare and wages. Karma can't come soon enough.

8. it is pretty clear he knows he is in a very precarios situation healthwise
and he cannot fool the people how dangerous this is anymore. He had to be hospitalized for gosh sakes, and his oxygen levels were reduced to serios levels
The recklessness, and irresponsible behavior of him and others in his campaign putting so many people at risk is not lost to anyone Also numbers don't lie. Over 200000 dead and 7 million infected in the US says everything |

9. I Predict He'll Say He Was Cured By Hydroxychloroquine
He owns stock in it, so it's to his advantage to say that it's the miracle cure he kept insisting it was. Either that or he will say he was given the new vaccine they're about to trot out and it completely cured him (not realizing, of course, that vaccines don't CURE things, they just prevent them).

10. We will know in at least two days the seriousness of the virus.
That pathetic POS does not look well. In the next two or three days the virus may show who is in control. I don’t ever see him going anywhere near a hospital out of just caution expect him to lie.

12. That would be a pretty bad move
He's going try to say the virus is no big deal when they literally had to do something that was never done in medical history to treat him, and it still might not even work?
The antibody cocktail he took has never been combined with Remdesevir. Think about that and then consider how he's going to say it's no big deal when Trump so far has needed a personal physician at his beck and call, oxygen, a med-evac, experimental treatments, therapeutics, a multiple day (or longer) stay at a world-class hospital. These aren't things we do for the flu or a cold. Besides that, doing so would be seen as a slap in the face to everyone who has died and their loved ones. That's not a path to winning. A better move would be to admit it's a probably and start acting like he should have the whole time. Supporting social distancing and masks (and practicing both himself), stopping rallies, requiring masks in all federal properties and by all federal employees. However, that would mean he would have to admit that he was wrong this whole time and take responsibility for the irresponsibility he displayed before. That's clearly not something that's going to happen either. Better odds that nothing changes. These morons are still talking about when they can start rallies again. |

16. If that happens, I don't think it will work
I've seen more anger than sympathy for him. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but they're realizing he never took it seriously, endangered not only his own people but normal Americans, and they know Grandma isn't getting a free ride on a helicopter to free healthcare in a suite if she gets it.
Hopefully this is the thing he never recovers from - either COVID or the reaction to his getting it. ![]() TlalocW |

23. Sure he is.
Just like they were hoping he'd remain asymptotic. They're going to try to spin this shit show to their advantage. Which doesn't mean it's going to work. But, of course that's their evil plan as of now. Even if they have to "Weekend at Bernie's" Trump via these faux 'super healthy' videos, that's their plan at this moment.
Who ever thought otherwise? There's way better odds Trump walks out of there than he doesn't. The joke is, there's also damn good odds Trump is never fully well again. He's now potentially their tool instead of the other way around. The power has deeply shifted here. The evil in the GOP (looking at you McConnel) now own Trump's ass, and everyone involved know this. Including Trump and his family. |

27. Oh, certainly. I won't work, but that's the best play given the hand he's been dealt
That is, it's the best play for a power-mad narcissist with no concern for anyone but himself.
If he gave a shit about anyone else, and was capable of admitting to, and learning from, mistakes, his best play would be doing a 180-degree turn on his total failure in public health policy. Like that's gonna happen. |

Never mind that Trump had access to numerous infectious disease experts and information for months, and he never learned a damn thing. |
