DU CHALLENGE: Pete DeFazio needs your help! The Tea Party is trying to take out a true progressive.

Hey DU, Peter DeFazio is under big attack from Art Robinson--A Tea Party Neanderthal who is being funded by a "Mysterious Donor" with deep pockets. If we want to keep a true blue progressive Congressman he is going to need our help.

So, I am going to make a DU CHALLENGE: For every person who responds to this post that they made a donation to Pete, I will donate $1. (from now until Oct. 1, payday)

http://www.defazioforcongress.org/

I know money is tight, but we people from blue cities in blue states often make our donations to out-of-state candidates. I've sent money for Warren, Graves, Zerbin, Duckworth, Sherrod, McCaskill, several others. I'm hoping that will have bought a little good Karma for Pete. He's not my rep but he is a solid core of the west coast progressive movement. He is a good man for the entire country and I'm proud to be his neighbor!

...him last time and they're doing the same this time. They really want to silence his voice.

But Peter works damn hard for all of the district and his support is pretty broad and solid. That being said, the last election was his closest margin due to the large influx of out of state money.

Robinson is a paranoid lunatic as well as being a racist Teanderthal. He makes Michelle Bachman look like a reasonable moderate.
