We are going to win because
People are sick of 2020 and anything and anyone who had anything to do with 2020. People want to turn the page and they’re ready for anything.
The Trump-has-Covid thing and the Pentagon-has- Covid thing will just remind everyone that 2020 isn’t going away even in 2021. And now they have an idiot to blame who caused this crisis to go on and on and on and on. People are going to want to slap 👋 Trump hard in the face. (My non-scientific thoughts based on nothing but shared rage)

1. The Ukraine bribery, the Kavanaugh manipulated investigation, the kangaroo impeachment court, the
Firing of inspectors, defying the Supreme Court, the corruption in the DoJ, disrespecting the House's constitutional authority, perjury, nepotism, disregard for natl security measures... The only people to whom this administration passes muster are those who are insulated inside a faux news cocoon.

2. Trump had choice. Many times.
A pandemic could happened to any President. Trump could have been a hero President doing all the right things through the pandemic. It was a practical lay up. But he fucked up here, there, then and now over and over again. It's not 2020's fault. People are sick and tired of Trump's lies and incompetence. He's half way out the door already. It's up to us to see it through.

5. My non-scientific thoughts tell me "chaos fatigue" has set in with the electorate...
and at this point, the people desire little more than a stable, functioning government which doesn't elicit a fresh embarrassment with each new day.
(thinking about though, that's pretty much the same thing you said) |
