Sad Little Freeper

I love the smell of Freeper Tears in the morning....it smells like VICTORY!!

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2937013/posts

Posted on Thursday, September 27, 2012 11:32:28 by SandyLynn

Last night, I gave in and cried. As the Mom of 3 kids, I feel hopeless. The polls show that Obama is winning, whether we try to deny it or not. I keep asking myself "Who are these so-called Americans who will re-elect this disaster we've had in office for almost 4 years?" I am scared. Scared for the lives my children will have to live, thanks to the resident currently occupying the White House. No, I will never call him my president..in my opinion, you have to EARN that title. And the man who currently occupies the White House is much more concerned about being popular with the "in" crowd..you know, the Hollywood Liberals. Who cares that gas prices have tripled since he took office? That food prices have skyrocketed? That most of us who work for a living are struggling from paycheck to paycheck while the lazy people live off of our hard work? Hopeless. I keep going back to that word..because I feel as though we have nowhere to go. And shock. Because I cannot believe we have so many stupid Americans in our country! Don't get me wrong. I will vote, and cast my vote for Romney. But really, is it enough? I don't think so. Fellow FReepers..is all lost, as I think it is?

Despair is a sin. Trust in God.

Sandy, I feel the same way almost daily. Then I remember Chick Fil A Day and the turnout and atmosphere. That gives me hope for November.

==================================================
So trust in God, but if that doesn't work...trust in a greasy chicken sandwich with urine flavored pickles. I think the Freeps are gonna need a hug come November.

led around by their emotions. What is it that prevents them from seeing the Republicans for what they are? The Party they

align with has worked against America by stifling every bill to rebuild our country and create millions of jobs. They watched

these Republicans fire teachers and use the savings to reward their wealthy benefactors. It happened. These

Republicans are making it more difficult for Americans to vote because they want to win and don't care how. Why can't they see.

The Republican leader and Presidential candidate is a pinwheel that reveals his pin (his connection to his reality) where he is

most comfortable among his uber wealthy cohorts. He boasts his lack of concern for those in this women's situation and

dismisses all of us who desire a country that stands for equal justice, civil rights and an available ladder of opportunity for

all.

I felt the same kind of "how can this be happening" during the Bush years, so I actually have some compassion for her. I don't suppose people who believe the ridiculous stories they hear deliberately seek out misinformation. They don't know that Fox News is allowed to lie; they presumably genuinely believe what they hear. So of course they're scared.

The difference between them and us, I would like to think, is that we are more fact-oriented, and we aren't inclined to unquestioningly accept the word of people who set themselves up as authorities. So I think we were right to be afraid, given the cavalier attitude Bush and Cheney had towards transparency, budgeting for wars, starting wars, etc. But I was genuinely afraid for the future of my kids and the country from 2000 to 2008, and it's no fun. I'm sorry she's too dim to change the channel and question her pastor, but by doing that she'd separate herself from her community, and that's a lot to ask of a person.

I blame the media personalities who feed on the fear of people like this.

Gas Prices did not triple under Obama. It stayed relatively even.
If you would like to compare gas prices, imagine 1998 when gas prices was still around 1.50 or less.
The Bush fiasco of a Presidency shown that triple increase by 2008 our gas hit 4.00 at some point.
Currently gas has been hovering around the 3.40-4.00 range for a good 4 years.

Before you accuse someone of doing something please research actual time frames.

Gas Prices Might actually go down if we stopped threatening to go to war with IRAN. What do they think would happen then?

And food prices have gone up because you assholes won't let us deal with climate change.

So thanks for both of those things that you bitch about.

She does not have a monopoly on the emotion.

2008 should have been a wake up call. For most Americans I think it was. For a few, it takes someone like Samuel L Jackson to say "Wake the fuck up".

They are under the Fox spell and it takes powerful magic to undo it. I feel sympathy for her fear and great anger to those that selfishly put her through it.

Gasoline has not been $1.25 a gallon for a very long time. Locally it was higher when Bush* was in office, something very close to $4.00 a gallon as I recall it. That is why some guys at work bought vespas.

The odds that Romney will lose are very, very low. The MSM is leading you by the nose like a sucker. If we lose it will be because people like you agreed to lose. Grow a spine. Can you say president Romney?

Along with pleas to heaven, they're setting up the blame for Willard's failure on those amongst them who "agreed to lose," as this freepmoran put it.

“I’ll try to be nice. No, I won’t. You are a jerk.”

In a war like this, you’re damn right I’m a jerk. When you sit and watch BS on networks you know are full of BS and fall for it, I DONT have sympathy for you, PERIOD.

You want to cry? Cry in a private message. Too many people here are already too darn wobbly to have a textual breakdown show up, it causes other nervous-Nellies to lose focus, and just gives spies from the other side encouragement to ramp up the BS further.

So sorry if it seems “mean”.

Until the day of the election we don’t know the result. God will get us thru, but it also a good idea to stock up now and be prepared.

I have decided that if zer0 wins, I am going to only buy replacement stores on sale and nothing else. If something breaks, we fix it or find another older appliance to rehab. Same w/the vehicles. If we all just live on our stores and only replenish those from sales, while growing greens and whatever else thru the winter, we can affect the economy. It will be like 2008, with less capital. Luckily, we have a warmer than average forecast for the next 3 months and propane has declined in price.

SandyLynn:If you live anywhere near Lansing, IA, check out Horsfalls (Lansing Variety) for great bargains on sox, sweats and assorted daily necessities. Actually worth a day trip, IMO.

Unfortunately, there is no bargain store for liberty and freedom. However, crying accomplishes nothing except red eyes and a runny nose. Cry once, if you must and do it in private. Your children will need your strength. So will you.

Colonel Kurtz: "You're neither. You're an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill."

And a mother of 3 who would supports a party who would willingly send her 3 children off to a forseeable war with the rest of the middle east.
