Trump Collapsing In Internal GOP Polls
October 9, 2020 at 7:52 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

New York Times: “New polls show Mr. Trump’s support is collapsing nationally, as he alienates women, seniors and suburbanites. He is trailing not just in must-win battlegrounds but according to private G.O.P. surveys, he is repelling independents to the point where Mr. Biden has drawn closer in solidly red states, including Montana, Kansas and Missouri, people briefed on the data said.”

for the chaos, threats and killing from the RW brownshirts of trump. Since the white riot in Charlottesville, they have coddled the POS calling himself potus even with the infamous, "fine people on both sides. The bothsiderism has caused a lot of grief. Trying to keep the American fantasy of it being the bright shining city on a hill from becoming what it has become, a dung heap laughed at by the world. When he was in his campaign he gave the media all the red flags it needed to know as to what type of human being he is, yet they coddled him and his grifting family. Would not give wide coverage to his lack of character and integrity. Would not give wide coverage to the millions made by Ivanka and Jarad off the brand of White House 'advisor'(s). Just the horserace. And these three among many Hannity, Scarborough and Mika, yeah yeah I know those two FINALLY see trump for what he is, stand out.

The hypocrisy and enabling of our media gave us this aberration that is posing as a POTUS that has him now wishing for his dictatorship. His brownshirts are chomping at the bit to be let loose on the Govenor Whitmers of this country and us citizens who are like her. They do want to kill us who are unafraid of these dangerous people and their FUHRER. They seem to fail to realize they can also fall with the proper. inducement.

report on the reality of society (bearing in mind that the right wing media are not journalists - they are propagandists for fascism). It is about time we accepted the FACT that there is a significant proportion of the American electorate that has always leaned towards authoritarianism and fascism. Numerous authors, political scientists, politicians, and critics have warned us of that since the 1930s. It has always been easy to turn the working class against immigrant and liberals during economic downturns. The media don't cause that, or aid and abett it, they report on it. My ultra conservative parents blamed the media for everything they didn't like - because they thought the media was too liberal. Of course, they excepted the right wing media that they got all their information from Fox News, to Rush Limbaugh, to The National Review. During Trump's 2016 campaign they reported every lie, every distortion, and every un-Ameriacn tendency. Trump supporters don't read newspapers, the New republic, or listen to NPR.

Texas will inevitably go blue and when it does the GOP will be dead as a national party. Changing demographics will insure they never will control Congress or the Presidency. Once that happens the money will dry up. State legislatures will fall like dominos, and the gerrymandering will be reversed. Eventually they will rise from the ashes as a minority opposition party after they have reinvented themselves, but they will have to move a lot farther left.

From the moment that he and Melania visited the Obamas two days after the election, The Emperor's New Clothes was all I could think of to describe Trump's presidency. That day, he seemed shellshocked, and he didn't know what to do with himself. When he's not surrounded by hordes of deplorables cheering him on, he is unable to function.

Whenever I saw the Orange Clown at some serious event where he had to follow protocol, I thought of the Emperor. When I saw him trying to interact with leaders of other countries, I thought of the Emperor. Everyone around Trump who tried to normalize him, I could see them as the people pretending to cut and sew cloth to make the Emperor's clothes.

It's way past time for the kid to scream "But he doesn't have any clothes on!!!"

Or maybe it wasn't so clear, what with both Clinton AND Trump being under water in terms of likability/approval.

Unfortunately she was not an ideal candidate because after 30 years of baseless manufactured right wing smears her image was tarnished. Right wing media is responsible for much of what is wrong in the country today.

Trump is a monster that they created and now that very monster is tearing their party apart.

The core GOP are at a crossroads: do they denounce Trump and alienate his die-hard MAGAT base to attempt to salvage their image in the eyes independents and centrists they need to beat Democrats? Or do they stay on the sinking Trump ship and go down with the captain?

If Dems can build with the wave it will make a tidal wave into a tsunami with bone-crushing consequences for the GOP. Not saying it's a given, depends on circumstances, but I will say I'm optimistically cautious. This is an extension of out 2018 results that was supposed to be a mere House capture but steadily built as results trickled in over the next weeks. We won what? 14 of those late-count races? Out of 14?

Give me a home where the buffalo roam but give me a trend that is steadily rising in an election where there are few undecideds. It means the message, logic, issues, strategy is hitting the motherlode. Democrats, thank you Tom Perez, have built political infrastructure.

the 63% who didn't vote at all in 2016:

Romney made the same mistake -- alienating independent voters by, uh, refusing to show his taxes.

Unless Trump really is a stable genius and has decided that if he can't leave a winner, he'll loot the treasury on the way out.

I wasn’t watching but my hubby had it on in another room and overhead them saying the Susan B Anthony group is going around door to door to say vote for MF45 because he will save the unborn. So a bunch of cells is more important than losing ones health care, social security, Medicare, Civil rights or their house and community to a terrible storm Is less important? These people are friggin insane.

And don’t get me started on watching the Daily show last night with Jordan Klemperer talking with his mentally ill supporters.

More Voters Trust Biden on Covid

Challenger pulls into double-digit lead over Trump

West Long Branch, NJ – Joe Biden holds a 12-point lead over Donald Trump among all registered voters in Pennsylvania and anywhere from an 8-point to 11-point lead among likely voters, according to the Monmouth (“Mon-muth”) University Poll. This marks an improvement from Biden’s single-digit lead in a Monmouth poll just over one month ago. More voters trust the challenger than the incumbent on key issues, such as handling the pandemic. The poll does not find much shift in opinion since the president’s own Covid-19 diagnosis. Other findings show a Democratic advantage in a trio of statewide office races and a tight margin in the generic party preference for Congress.

82. Yes he could, they are pushing Iran to an altercation

Sanctions are killing innocent people in Iran who were formerly pro-American and now are being denied, medicine, food, supplies. No matter what Iran leaders do to appease Trump he will keep squeezing them. Venezuela, N. Korea and Syria may all now be bullied so to provoke some confrontation so to produce a WAR PRESIDENT. This could get ugly as this cornered Trump rat lashes out. If you heard his rant on arresting Obama, Hillary and even Biden you can sense Trump's franticness.

Let us not get complacent. Everyone vote!

That said, enthusiasm for Biden - Harris is very high where I live.

And 2-3 of the battlegrounds need to be won by large margins ON ELECTION NIGHT.
Pull that off, and trump cant kick and scream during the days after the election.
