Their little girl is happy and healthy--after a bumpy first few months, I won't deny it. It was scary at times. Please keep us updated when you have time.

Even if the baby is early, neonatal care has become so advanced. A friend's granddaughter was born around 26 weeks 12 years ago. They were so afraid she wouldn't survive or would be disabled. That child is now beautiful and in gifted classes!

have high hopes. my mother survived being born 3 months premature in 1925! and my nephew is still going strong (and brilliant) almost 46 years after he was born at 6 months. medical science has come a long way since then.
