New Polls Show Trouble For Steve King In Iowa

New Polls Show Trouble For Steve King In Iowa

Two new polls show Democrat Christie Vilsack closing in on GOP Rep. Steve King in Iowa where Democrats have made unseating the outspoken tea party congressman a top priority, as TPM reported Thursday.

A new survey from Public Policy Polling Thursday shows Vilsack down just three points to King, 45 percent to 48 percent, respectively. And an internal poll conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research backed up PPP's findings, with Vilsack 44 percent to King's 46 percent.

It's interesting how that mindset has developed among fundamentalists.

He's on my list of 'House Republicans I would most like to see lose their seats', along with Ryan, Bachmann, West, Cantor, Issa, Walsh, and several others. I'm really hoping for some big upsets (in the Dems' favor, of course) on election day!

The wannabe Limbaughs on WNAX in Yankton, SD, have this clown on their show all the time. He is the very caricature of a Tea Partier. Northwest Iowa is better than him.

three weeks ago. In fact I saw them in places I had never seen Dem signs before. It was heartening.

For the first time in many years, I'm cautiously optimistic.
