Two new polls show Democrat Christie Vilsack closing in on GOP Rep. Steve King in Iowa where Democrats have made unseating the outspoken tea party congressman a top priority, as TPM reported Thursday.
A new survey from Public Policy Polling Thursday shows Vilsack down just three points to King, 45 percent to 48 percent, respectively. And an internal poll conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research backed up PPP's findings, with Vilsack 44 percent to King's 46 percent.
