Ed Rendell has been on MSNBC the last couple of days acting like he is rooting for Romney. Yesterday or the day before (can't remember been in bed sick)...he says Romney in a speech acted "Presidential". Today a few minutes ago he says Romney has won all his debates and did a great job and acted "Presidential". It's like he is for Romney and Romney is great. He did conclude that he hasn't gotten his message out but has catered to the right extreme as if to make excuses for his behavior. What does Ed think about the 47% as I didn't hear his thoughts on that. The way he is talking he probably made an excuse for that too.
He even said he likes Christy but doesn't think his bully technique is liked by those not in NJ. He used to seem so on Obama's side as least I thought.

(505 posts)It's getting to the point that it appears more and more "journalists" are getting paid to say one side. Like they are now paid by lobbyists or campaigns.
It's different than a show or person "leaning" one way or the other or sharing their Own personal opinions It's like they all are getting specific talking points and are being paid to push 'em. This is obvious when you look at coverage of the two conventions.
So sick of the poisoned media.
I want them to identify their personal "sponsors"!

(5,792 posts)when he is talking. It's like he doesn't want to say it so he just doesn't look into the camera. His eyes are like downward looking like I'm saying things I really don't want to but hey the money is great. I think you are right about that.

(15,438 posts)since all the pundits are pontificating that President Obama is going to cream Romney in the debates. He doesn't want Romney to get the "lowered bar" advantage only to get high fives when he doesn't fail miserably. They did the same thing with Duhbya, lowered expectations and he came out lookking okay and everyone fell over themselves crying how good he was in the debates against VP. Al Gore.
That's what I think is happening. I've seen Gov. Howard Dean do the same thing, actually.

(17,528 posts)But I too have noticed he has too many nice things to say about ReThugs. I could give him a swat upside the head sometimes. Maybe he's aiming for something in the next Obama administration and doesn't want too many enemies.

(34,661 posts)whom is trying to justify his kiss ass lobbyist for big corporations. What a joke, his history of being a Dino is well documented. The Sandusky investigation must be biting his heels.

(1,417 posts)He always comes across as a bitter Hillary Clinton supporter IMO. No offense to Hillary or her supporters in general. Joan Walsh and Debbie Wasserman Schultz were HUGE Hillary supporters, but they have really come on board for the President and I respect them for it.
