In those voting areas where the voting is on electronic voting machines we should have a "people's vote" outside the voting where people fill out a paper ballot with their Presidential choice, Senate choice and House of Rep choice. Then put in a box and later on line via Ustream count the votes. If they (the repubs) try to flip the vote we will have the evidence of the "people's vote". This can done cheaply and all it takes is some voting rights activists to pull it off. It can be officially the 25-50 feet away from the actual polling place. But we can give slips to people as they are going in and ask them to drop off their "people's vote" after they made their "government" vote. Since it is on a public sidewalk the police can not do anything especially if the "true the vote" goons are there with their signs.

Besides the fact that vote tampering is as much a load of horse manure as voter fraud, who has another 5 minutes to spend filling out your meaningless little paper ballot?
No one.

(21,040 posts)Brad Blog has an article from USA Today talking about how the votes can be hacked

You should visit this site and check out his reporting about how the votes can be changed via transmission.
Also another website called black box voting

There is a lot of documentation. And hacking is not horse manure but something that is a danger to our democracy.
