WI Supreme Court refuses to take up voter ID

http://elections.wispolitics.com/2012/09/supreme-court-refuses-to-take-voter-id.html

The state Supreme Court today refused the attorney general's request to take up two voter ID cases that found the requirement was unconstitutional.

In one order, the court called Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen's petition to bypass the appeals courts premature.

Read the orders here and here.

So if you see or hear people stating it's required in WI, make sure they know that the injunction assures that it will NOT be in place in November.

I would love to see these GOP office holders (like this WI AG) get
MAJOR BLOWBACK in 2014 for their voter suppression stunts, and
get their asses resoundingly thrown out of office.

Now let's hope the Appeals Court is as definitive as the District Courts and so constrain the Supreme Court when they finally hear the cases.
