Best Democratic president since 1932.

I'm only going to go as far back as 1932 to the current man in the White House.

Franklin Roosevelt
Harry Truman
John Kennedy
Lyndon Johnson
Jimmy Carter
Bill Clinton
Barack Obama

Me, I'm going FDR one, Clinton 2, and Kennedy 3.

If JFK had a second term, I likely would have moved him to #2.

They really are the giants of the 20th century presidency. That's not meant to insult the rest, but FDR and LBJ are on a level all their own.

be kinder to him than some here.

These threads remind me of Republicans pining for Reagan. It's kind of a useless exercise.

Millions of $$$ spent denigrating him and the DEM Party took its toll in low ratings and numbers.

Thats how GOPers work...slash and burn....win by any means...fuck fair....

I rate Obama as a WINNER.....

anhd the jury is still in play...he got 5 years to fin the job....

It has been one mediocrity after another really, with some being better than others of course. Maybe Kennedy or Johnson were the last really good ones.

Clinton was decent, but great, no way. I'm afraid that Obama has not shown much either, even with the recent positive actions he did. I think everyone knows how terrible Bush was.

For me it's

FDR
JFK
Clinton
LBJ (would've been higher if not for Vietnam)
Truman
Carter

I suspect Obama will be remembered well by historians.

for real accomplishments (legislation, etc) I would say FDR, LBJ & Obama

Yes, I'm aware of Vietnam and what that did to LBJ's legacy but I also don't discount such things as The Civil Rights Act of 1964, Voting Rights Act of 1965, Medicare, The War on Poverty and an array of Great Society legislation.
