Although "nerd" may be a little strong . . . .

Ernst is so phony and awful. I liked how she tried to argue with the moderator after giving her spectacularly wrong-by-about-a-factor-of-two answer, and how the moderator respectfully pointed out that no, Ms. Greenfield was asked about corn (and incidentally nailed it).

Utter and complete fail.

...to actually prep for anything. They, like their Orange leader, feel they can just bullshit their way through, and the rubes will all follow closely behind because guns 'n 'bortion.

And for around 40% of their constituency, they're right. Problem is, that number is starting to shrink, and they're not picking up any of the fence-sitters any more.

I remember when I could have conversations with Republicans. Not anymore, they just immediately go all "Trump".
