Suggestions for improving the republican party

How would you, a liberal Democrat, suggest to the republican party how they might improve themselves in the future to adapt to the 21st century?

('eat shit and die' is not an acceptable answer).

like honesty, integrity, and community service.

Their degenerate, grossly hypocritical Republican so-called "Family Values" have led them -- clad in diapers and with their toes frantically tapping -- into a cesspool of sleazy activity directed toward greed, hate and fear, and against the noble American Ideal.

The contradictions are the absurd antithesis of the Dem "big tent" problems. They are headed for some spectacular meltdown if they don't take down the world around them first. They have no viable leadership and honesty or human values contradict the power equation.

Then they could regroup around "charismatic billionaires, "ideological billionaires", populist ideologues(not shabby poor though). Lost are the empty traditions of the Lincoln GOPers and Eisenhower. Hell, they don't even mention Nixon except as a liberal and Reagan is slowly fading because there is nothing really there anyway. Conservatism only seems to survive by the grace of centrist Democrats who give it credence of sorts probably as a prop to an increasingly unsustainable economic system.

As in "Eisenhower Republicans" and not "George Lincoln Rockwell/David Duke Love Children"?

...or two separate parties. I'm not opposed to accepting evacuating moderates into our own party, as long as they can leave that toxic right wing bullshit at the door and accept a broadly diverse group to work with.

And learn what the constituents wants instead of what the corporations OR (in many Republican's case) I want.

Otherwise, they can ESAD.

They're all tainted. Get rid of Newt, Cantor, and the rest. Put some reasonable people in their places.

if they do`t the party will no longer be a viable force in politics for years into the future.there will always be core right wing republicans but they will have greatly dimished power. the more moderate republicans will become "republican independent" voters. this will boost the trend of independent voters becoming the biggest voting block in the elections. both the democrats and republicans will spend more money and time to convince the independents to vote for thier canidates.

...standard conventional English, that is, not the dialect they prefer to use, with its wildly-expansive (or exceedingly narrow) definitions of things like "socialism" (or "free market&quot , Orwellianisms like "Big Government"/"small government", and dog whistle codes.

to the left a bit in order to give the republicans some room. Moving to the center would give us two identical parties.
Where can they go if the Dems are center right unless the repubs went progressive?
