Look at the bar graphs in particular. Compare the new cases vs new deaths. Some countries, like France and Italy don't have high deaths while others like Poland and Russia do.

I am beginning to believe that this COVID19 virus has internal timed maturation signals. Sorta like annual plants that begin to bloom at certain times of the year. There is a reason why there is a "flu season." So it is with COVID season. Sure we opened up some venues to fast and many have gotten lax in their anti-viral precautions but this shit is happening all over the world at the same time, even in places that had virtually defeated the virus. Humans are the major hosts. Several more cases of re-infection have sprung up here and elsewhere.
