1. When does early voting end in NC? Are mail-in ballots counted before or only on election day?

Thanks!

2. Early voting runs until Saturday, October 31

Mail-in ballots and early-voting ballots are counted as they come into county election boards. The boards meet once a week to accept mail-in ballots. Those ballots, when they are accepted, are opened and tabulated by machine, but no results can be released until the polls close on Election Day. I think the early voting ballots are counted as they come in, but no results are available until after 7:30 on Election Day.

3. Great info, thanks

Great also because there are some states that cannot begin to tabulate early voting of any kind before Election Day, which is ridiculous to me.
