The Media is already trying to soften this debate for Trump
Ari just discussing that even Obama didn't have a great first debate, and sometimes Trump can be funny or talk on a wider range of issues, so maybe he'll be able to tone himself down tonight...
I have never in my life seen a more evil, corrupt human being who the entire world bends over backwards to normalize.

3. I kind of wish they would mention Don Jr.'s blundering admission that the
Trump campaign is placing a heckler in the audience to create chaos.
It reflects so badly on Trump and gives viewers a heads-up. And I hope the Debate Commission is aware of this. |

6. Nothing to see here. He's just another president with a quirk or two.
It's not like he's a full-blown psychopathic fascist dictator with drug abuse issues and severe cognitive decline working on Russia's behalf to destroy the country.

9. What a stupid assed comparison!
It's like comparing dropping a mint out of a package on the ground and having to get a new candy out of the pack with an Earth killing asteroid impact. So, no comparison. None.
Soooooo stupid. Pathetic. |

10. They need a "race" to keep viewers.
I feel 0% for DJT chance of re-elect legit, and watching their choices, very funny to me?
Jr out there looking on something in everything I have seen in the last 2 weeks. DJT will get credit for things that are mundane for anyone else, hilariously low standards, for a sitting President! ![]() |

11. Of course they are
If Joe even stutters it'll be curtains for him, but if Trump just doesn't trip on the way in they'll be calling it a "Game changer". Gotta have that horse race

14. I've got the show on now
But missed the comment while moving my sprinkler. But damn! First Ari is reminding us the we could see a 2016 redux and now making parallels between Obama and Trump?
Number one, even on his worst night, the former President is x1000 better in any speaking engagement. Yeah, he had a bad night in the first debate with Romney. Then Biden made mincemeat of Paul Ryan and President Obama came roaring back. Trump had an unGodly and insane performance on Debate #1 and refused to appear for Debate #2. Number 3 will be the charm??? Not a chance. He even blew the 60 minutes interview. Let's get real. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump stomps off in a huff. This is not normal behavior, certainly not presidential behavior. Anyone saying different is just trying to be provocative. Looking at you, Ari! |

15. Ari...That explains it...I have stopped watching him..
He seems to have something against Biden. I have not noticed any other people in the media softening the debate for Trump. However, he can’t do much worse. I mean he was a raving lunatic last time so pretty much anything would be deemed an improvement. The only thing that pisses me off is when they grade someone based on their demeanor even if they did not answer the question asked.

20. That's the sad thing.
He was so horrible last time, if he manages not to completely explode and walk off stage early tonight, the media will say he didn't do too bad, and his polls numbers will go up slightly. It's insane.
Reminds me of Van Jones saying Trump being able to read a teleprompter for a short period of and not cuss out the entire audience meant he was "presidential." I'm just fed up with everyone normalizing him. I wish Dems got that kind of deference. |

17. Trump's not capable of debate, so why bother.
Everything in his freak bizarro world is all about him with no further points of discussion allowed.
This does nothing but give him a platform to show off his barn-size ego to impress his rabid fans and give him more shit to whine about tomorrow. I hope Joe burns him good. KY |

19. And then they get the vapors at the mere mention of repairing the judicial system
Four years now of normalizing every disgusting act. Calling him "presidential" if he manages not to publicly pee his pants. I don't think a day has gone by in this administration without a crime of some sort being committed, but coverage seems always to be full of weasel words that make it seem OK. I'm sick to death of the infotainment industry.
