https://www.investors.com/news/trump-vs-biden-poll-race-independents-narrow-ibd-tipp-presidential-poll/Over the last two days it had increased by two, but they are still using a headline from a couple days ago. But if you actually read this piece of the article you realize the lead is growing again
Biden's lead peaked at 8.6 points in IBD/TIPP's Oct. 13 presidential poll. The race's tightest point came on Tuesday, Oct. 20, when Biden led by 2.3 points.
It is now 50-45 Biden, but on Tuesday it was 48-46 on Tuesday...But they are trying to sell the tightening narrative.

(26,044 posts)1. They've always had the race closer than other polls...
...but that 2.3 seemed an outlier even for their methodology, particularly when we werent seeing similar drastic movement in other polls.
Still, I expect the race to tighten somewhat, because I think most of the (relatively few) undecideds out there will turn out to be the proverbial shy Trump voters. Which is why even those analysts showing Biden up by close to double digits are predicting the final margin will be 7-8.
