Politics was never discussed before 2016. Trump just draws something out of them to be extremely vocal about it. And I guess I am part of the problem that I have an extremely low tolerance for Trump's BS. He definitely draws the worst out of them, including making the worst possible policy decisions.

They are desperate. Just wait, trump and cronies will spew out ridiculous nonsense over the next week or so, and of course none of it will gain any traction what-so-ever, and if anything, will cost them votes when people see the nonsense they are peddling.

I saw that young voters by the 100s of thousands are flocking to the polls. I hope that seniors flock to the polls too. trump did threaten my social security yet again. I hope that a lot of seniors take note of that threat, after all, if they try and take away or reduce our social security (which we all paid for ourselves over our long work careers), how will seniors replace this income? How? Most of us are too old to resume working in the workplace again.

My dad is a prime example. He is 60 years old and he got laid off back in March due to COVID. He hasn't found any work since. There is no way he can find similar work at his age. And he is still a few years before he can get on medicare and social security. Biden wants to lower medicare age to 60 which would directly benefit him right now and can give him an option to retire early. But no, he is still supporting Trump because......

I've heard him said the 10 dollars tax cut he got from Bush is better than anything Obama ever did. Even when Bush crashed the economy and so on. There is no fixing them. Especially now that he is unemployed and watch crazy youtube videos day in and day out.

He rather go without healthcare back in March because he rather not use ObamaCare. He needs daily medication and he end up missing meds for a few months. He finally broke down and bought in ObamaCare last week. Some part of me wonder if SC strike down ObamaCare and how he would react when he couldn't get the subsidy from ObamaCare.

I resigned to the fact that I am their retirement funds many years ago. My parents sacrificed a lot for me. Other than their politics, they are great people. But they foolishly buy into the slogans of the republican party. They left our home country to immigrate to the US where they don't know much English. They wanted me to have a better education and have a better chance of a better future.

This is why I came back to live with them as they need my help due to their language barrier.

We can argue all we want what a poor businessman Trump is, and it is all factually true, but I know there ahs been times I considered a businessperson would be good for the job. Now, I think not. I do not care if they are even successful business people. I can see the flaw in that thinking.

I think though a lot of it might have been just diverging from the normal politician and HRC certainly was. Throw in three decades of attacks and false characterizations. Woman. Comey. Horrible primary attacks toward her that did not stop.

Lots of things.

Btw, to be clear. I am a HUGE supporter of HRC and appreciate her 100xs more today than I did in early 2015. She schooled me on her awesomeness thru out the primary and admired her so.

So I well heard all the whistles letting us know you could not have a worse business man. Everything about him and his actions were complete opposite of moral, ethical business people of the time.

That whole perspective is very interesting to me that he can't see but what I know is I am his only liberal. I do not live anywhere close to be able to computer help him to information> He is not on a computer at the end of the day. Newspaper and TV. He swears he does not do Fox anymore.

Sat Oct 24, 2020, 04:12 PM

RWers have been promoting for decades, that Democrats are socialists or communists (they don't distinguish between the two). They believe that "political correctness" is an infringement on basic American liberties. During the Bush years, RWers were promoting the idea that Nazis were socialists so all left leaning people are Nazis. I encountered many people online and some in person who bought into that notion. They fear the term, but have no clue what it is.

So if Biden wins, they fear that Nazi leftists will turn the country communist. They think that removing religious symbols from government places is an infringement on religious freedom.

A liberal, left government is a nightmare for them. The irony is that they cannot see that Trump's racist policies and comments are right out of a fascist (Nazi) playbook. So they believe that Trump is their hero who saves them from Nazi communism.

They are seriously deficient in knowledge of civics and history.

occasionally, conversations will start, but i'm sure most of us have been frustrated with the ignorance and dishonesty of trying to speak with a trump supporter. but there is one clown that actually thinks it upsets me and other honesty lovers, by chanting "four more years" and the day of the last debate he was saying "it's over, Biden even had to bring out Obama". I asked him, you don't know that former presidents will campaign for their party's candidate? especially if it's his former VeeP?" he just gave me a blank idiotic look, which in all honesty is his normal look.
I don't really care if trump supporters are upset or not. for my and our country, we need trump to lose and lose big. I don't care how upset trumpsupporters are, my two main concerns after a Biden victory on November 3 will be the actions trump and mcconnell take to create chaos and cause as many problems as they can, along with the lunatic terrorists supporting trump.
