She thought she was being cute.

A relative of mine from Alabama thought it would be cute to post a little message on FB. It read something like this:

"Everyone remember you must register if you are going to vote in this years election. The deadline is October 26 if you are voting for Romney. If your going to vote for Obama you have to register on October 27 only )"

One of her halfwit friends posted "I Like this"

Then it was my turn. I wrote and wrote and wrote. Then I decided a more simple reply would work. I wrote: "Sounds about right. If you can't win, CHEAT!"

She took down her post minutes later.

Someone's liable to try to report you as someone attempting to suppress Republican votes.

They love anything they can point at to try to prove "equivalence".

Put that up and share it.....

Republicans Are A Disease, and everyone knows it North of the Mason Dixon Line..... And getting closer to half of the reality based people living in red states understand this too. They have to live around people that would be considered insane by A-N-Y standard.

People have been banned from this site for nudging just a little farther into the idea that southerners are, by and large, anti-Obama and anti-Democratic

So why don't you reconsider that there are 50 states in this Union and Obama can't win without all of them. Because even if our state doesn't send votes to the electoral college, the people in our state are sure as hell sending him money and campaign support.

It's people like me living in small backwater towns, spending every day pointing out how bad the Republicans are to my Republican friends and neighbors that are helping to nudge those people to Obama's side.

You may want to re-word your post and remember what the President said: He doesn't just represent the people that voted for him or gave him money, he represents everybody.

Welcome to DU, where even people SOUTH of the Mason Dixon line believe in progressive ideals.

Please keep trying to reason with them talking dog. The best way I have found is to ask them questions they can't answer. Soon they will realize you have an "agenda" and tune you, and any amount of truth you may inspire them with out but it may get them to think. Just telling them the truth rarely works.

When they try to trash Obama ask them how America was doing when he came into office, and then ask him how big the budget surplus was when Bush came into office, and have them explain why they are unhappy with Obama instead of Bush. It won't help, but it will make you feel good...

Remember that a low voter turnout favors Republicans.

So if you're a Republican, don't vote.

And she thought, that the day before Obama came to speak on Bowling Green, Ohio, that it would be cute to post her take on it. She said that, unlike the pizzaria owner in FL, she would not hug him but karaqte-chop him instead. She received many, many likes on it. I'm not a fan of childish crap like that.
