Texas 2020 feels like Virginia 2008

A reliable Republican state that was always called for the Republicans as soon as the polls closed...looking at the demographic trends you knew that it was only a matter of time before it flipped blue...Ironically, I live in Texas now and Virginia back then....back then the VA Republicans were in denial that Virginia would turn blue...but I could tell working for the local Obama election HQs and now doing the same with the county Democratic HQs

3. I know 4 liberal families that have moved from California to Texas in the last two years.

And I suspect a lot of people are disgusted with republican running the state. They are so corrupt and do nothing for the citizens of Texas. Ann Richards was the last great governor of Texas who wasn’t self serving.

4. The final vote total for Texas could be close to 12 million votes

Michael Li used to have the best election law/redistricting blog in Texas but was hired by the Bennan Center. Michael makes the case for 12 million possible votes in Texas which means that no one has any idea what is going to happen
