The sheriff's office in New York City said Saturday its deputies shut down an illegal Halloween party of more than 387 people that violated emergency orders prohibiting large gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic.

The police bust occurred at around 1 a.m. on Saturday in a Brooklyn warehouse

1. Well, That Seems Safe

Here in Illinois, a study was done regarding the upswing in COVID cases. (One of the big hospital groups. Northwestern or Rush seems familiar, but not sure.)
They found that school reopening was a very minor factor in the increased spread.
Instead, they concluded that restaurants, bars, and "COVID fatigue" activities were the drivers. The last of those were large, uncontrolled gatherings, ignoring masks & distancing.
This event seems to be both the 2nd & 3rd!
