More Dorworth embarrassments for GOP -- time for a new speaker
Four years ago, two freshman lawmakers were engaged in a heated if premature battle to decide who would be speaker of the House in 2014.

The first is South Florida Republican Erik Fresen a man I profiled Wednesday for passing much-needed legislation to crack down on the vile practice of teenage sex slavery. Fresen's Safe Harbor Act was touted by law enforcement, newspapers across the state and politicians on both sides of the aisle. It was good policy meant to combat heinous acts.
The other man is Seminole County state Rep. Chris Dorworth, who continues to make headlines of a very different kind: for questionable ethics, potential conflicts of interest, his foreclosure woes and a general inability to pay his bills. Last week, things got even worse, as Dorworth refused to disclose details about special-interest-funded trips he took to Taiwan and San Francisco.
Guess which one is slated to become speaker.
