(58,785 posts)Trump came to Rome today, drawing crowds of hoodlums, and Biden was also planned to be there earlier. He's apparently swinging back to GA tomorrow. Obama also, but seemingly not the same place.
From Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
Ruth Demeter, the local partys chairwoman, said in a statement on its website that the event was canceled out of an abundance of concern for the health and safety of our citizens."
We have been informed that a large militia presence is expected in Rome today due to Trumps visit," she said, hours before Trumps arrival. "Additionally, we are not able to secure police presence for our event because of the airport rally.

We're not used to that.
As for the militia, etc, averaging about 8 deaths per Trump rally according to Stanford researchers.
