I can only imagine how bad this would all turn out, all of the legal crap that would ensue after this with custody and everything else, Burrells post continued. You win! You have promised for weeks, you will ruin my life and I had no idea who I was messing with. You are right, I didnt know who I was messing with.
His post continued: For those who are mourning know I'm in such a better place. I'm no longer fighting the battles that have been causing so much pain in my mind and life. Waking up feeling worthless, lost, confused, and tired/exhausted. I know you all have told me that's not who I am and I'm talented and have a good head on my shoulders, I appreciate you, but it doesn't help how I feel.

(14,852 posts)... with my child, just DAYS after I divorced her, was a very low-point for me too.
She gave me a pic of the ultrasound, and a trip to the medical school library at my university indicated otherwise. She finally admitted it wasn't my child, and what a sense of relief!
She and her mother had basically promised to use the child to try to wreck my life. The article points to a similar situation for him.
Not to mention the feeling of deep remorse, bringing a child into the world who would be influenced by my ex-wife and her family.

Edit:
I just spent several minutes looking for the book that was most helpful for me. It was a book about estimating dates of conception from heart rates and crown-rump lengths. I think it was based on a study of over 50,000 women around the Houston TX area? (Couldn't find it online.)
That was long ago. I never let appearance be a primary driver for my attraction thereafter.
