How Stacy Abrams convinced Biden to take Georgia--and her--seriously

How Stacy Abrams convinced Biden to take Georgia—and her—seriously

If there is one person who is both most responsible for Georgia’s emergence as a competitive state, and most likely to benefit from a Democratic victory here, it is Stacey Abrams. The 2018 Democratic gubernatorial candidate’s near miss — she lost by 1.4 points — made Georgia the new North Carolina: a recently red Southern state undergoing dramatic demographic change that has made it competitive for the foreseeable future

What position might Abrams have in a Biden administration?

I personally want her to stay in GA and run for Gov. again. She was cheated out of her win and I think her chances would be much better. I certainly won't object to a role in the Biden administration, I just prefer to keep her closer to home for the near term.

Kemp's had a lot of time to let his corruption ooze into the political workings.

Stacey Abrams is amazing. She's been doing great things in this state, things that really needed to get done and no one else was doing them. She's going to be in Washington one way or another one day, but I hope she sticks around a little longer in GA before that day comes.

If we can keep the GA momentum going she would be great for GA.

Of course I hope we win GA, but I’ve lived here 20+ years and GA consistently polls more Democratic than votes. Still...this could be the year!

I voted!
