Nothing says “we can win this election fair-and-square” like launching lawsuit after lawsuit to keep votes from being counted.
Nothing says “we want the will of the people to prevail” like setting fire to ballot boxes, or ensuring that ballot boxes are simply unavailable.
Nothing says “we want the voices of all Americans be heard” like making sure voting is made as complicated as possible – and, in some cases, impossible.
Nothing says “we believe the American people will vote to re-elect Trump” like trying to keep the American people from getting to the polls to cast their ballots.
Nothing says “our ‘pResident’ has done a great job on Covid-19” like declaring the pandemic to be over – while thousands continue to die.
And for the finale – ta da! – nothing says “strong, confident leader” like putting up even more barricades around the White House two days before an election.
Why is America’s self-declared “favourite president” so afraid of the American people? Why is the man – who once said he’d rush into a school in an active-shooter situation without fear – erecting walls to keep him safe from a citizenry he still insists adore him?
Nothing says “fearless leader” like being this afraid.
