This is one of the problems of their not having any journalistic background or even concern about "old journalism." As much as we complain about old journalism and the so-called "mainstream media," at least there is a professional sensibility and set of guidelines to deal with getting worked by external parties, like a campaign or administration. Facebook simply has no sense of how to deal with being a ref who's getting worked, so it's all ad hoc and stupidity. What a shit show. They are "disrupters," but that means they throw out the baby of ethics out with the bathwater. It's leading us into catastrophe.
