President Donald Trump is reportedly telling his advisers that he is becoming increasingly nervous about the fact that he could be indicted if he loses the election on Tuesday.
Trump is currently protected from indictment under all federal laws because hes president, but if he loses, that would all change.
Trump has gone through great lengths to avoid releasing his taxes, leaving him vulnerable to being indicted for tax fraud. Cyrus Vance Jr., the district attorney for Manhattan, is also probing the possibility that Trump has provided insurers with false information regarding his financial position in order to receive lower premiums and interest rates on loans.
In addition to Trumps potential crimes, numerous people connected to the president through his campaign, his presidency, or even his business have been charged with crimes.

(24,406 posts)but I can't stand the lionization of Comey. He's a big part of what wrong for Hillary in 2016 and helped Trump (and ironically Trump STILL fired him based on the crazy idea that HE was partially responsible for a supposed "Deep State Coup" )

(24,406 posts)I have it saved to my YT and glance at it every once in a while. It sort of smarts that the Mueller investigation didn't turn out to be as important or significant as it probably should be and it won't be until Trump and his ilk are gone that we will actually know the full truth behind the investigation and what happened and what Barr's role was in it ending. I tend to think that Mueller was a decent person but had to have been greatly constrained by Rosenstein and then Barr. Hopefully, we will know more sooner rather than later.

(266 posts)He will have until Jan 20 to come up with a deal or resign and have Pence do a full federal pardon.
He will still have access to money and hire a pirate ship full of lawyers to delay state and civil cases as long as possible.
Under Secret Service protection, and he'll get to charge them for everything. And never pay.

And importantly, he should not be allowed to buy any network & keep bombarding the public airways with his hate filled lies. His minions will then keep causing trouble in the country. We've already had enough of that with Fux Lies. He won't allowed public interviews in prison.

(9,670 posts)Fucker should be happy he stole 4 years of freedom. He also defecated on our Constitution, pissed on the American people, and still believes himself to be above every single one of us, including his army of misdirected devotees. If anyone at any time in world history deserved to be tried in public for every single one of his transgressions, it's this evil, cowardly, pustulent example of everything that is wrong with mankind that needs to be fixed.
This man threw a wrench in the works and we're all damned lucky to still be alive.
