So, did you buy it to drink, or are we going to have to start calling you Zackymilly Molotov? (that does have a good ring)

If I drank, I would tie one on tomorrow and have my wife wake me with the results. Of course, if I still drank, I might wake to find myself some distance from my home, in a ditch, surrounded by my humble belongings.

The most humane way to euthanize a fish is to slowly add vodka to a container of water they are in. They will eventually pass out and drown. Either that or flush or trash them, or slam them on a table, which I don't do. I had this fish for over 10 years.
I did find out that some fish keepers put their dead fish in the freezer indefinitely. Why? I don't know....

I'm purposefully not doing it since I feel like drinking alcohol isn't a good thing for me. It is bad for both my mental and physical health. I've been staying away from it recently and I feel like I'm doing way better without it. I tend to have worse anxiety/depression in the days after drinking.

I had no idea of what was happening to me. I blood test revealed my liver enzymes were out of whack and alcohol was the culprit. So I just stopped my nightly wine drinking, which I had enjoyed for so long. I noticed how much better I feel in the mornings now and I handle adversity better, too.

I discovered that there was such a thing as alcohol free Merlot made by F.R.E. that has had the alcohol removed, so you get the taste of Merlot but without the harmful effect that the alcohol adds. I have a glass or two with my dinner each evening. And no intestinal distress.

to drink alone, keeping it to modest social, but the pandemic and 45 broke me. For the first time I have wine with dinner, alone, and am enjoying it! But if I start to drink more than 1-2 glasses (it's 80% of the time 1) then I'll know it's really (really) not a good thing.

Good on you for making the decision.

The high you want to battle depression, that's where I am, no anger, at peace, no delusions, seeing the truth, waiting for others to catch up!

Some of ya'll are just impossibly stupid, not even the birth defect kind, that I can excuse, my one special relative is anti-trump, and yeah she is 50, and votes!

Now in that age bracket where no one wants ya and no end support yet available, this is not mentioned much, check on people you know 50-64, we are hurting too!

I know of at least 1 suicide of a high school classmate, but it was after another, his best friend got killed by a drunk driver.

But yeah this fucking nightmare needs to end ASAP!

Mental health services in bulk will be NEEDED!

If we have any health service pros even left?

Covid-19 doesn't stop Nov. 4th.

I remain furious.

I have my flag ready to put out as soon as it's called for Biden! I haven't flown my flag for several years but I'll be damned if I'm going to let the right wing nutjobs co-opt OUR flag for themselves. I'm sure all of my neighbors will understand why I have a flag out for the first time. I don't even have to say a thing and we aren't allowed campaign or any other kind of signs in our neighborhood, so this way I'll be sending the signal that I was all in for Biden/Harris.

That's about as daring as I get, though I still have one bottle left of Ramseier Süssmost that I brought back from Switzerland last time I was down there (last week, so I'm almost out).

According to my dad, I am still too young to appreciate alcohol, so I don't drink it. When I was about 7 (a little over 60 years ago), he was having some friends over, and they were drinking all sorts of stuff I wasn't familiar with. When I asked what it was, he started using words I didn't know. Whiskey, Beer, Wine, Bourbon, Gin, Scotch (which I only knew as a tape to keep pieces of paper together). He said, here, try it. I was horrified at the taste of all of them, and he and his pals all laughed. They explained that when I was old enough, I would like all that stuff, too. Well, I STILL hate the taste of all of it, so I am obviously not yet old enough. Genetic defect, or something.
