at my voting place. It was a beautiful day and I was proud to vote an ALL DEMOCRATIC BALLOT. The best thing I saw today was that there were NO tRump signs out in front. All Biden and Jones signs Also, there was NO sign of intimidation

(11,683 posts)So I had no reason not to go out into gorgeous mid-morning air in Central Wisconsin and cast my Straight Democrat ballot. The line was pretty long for my area (20+ people) but I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.
Only note of the odd was, I was directed to park next to a huge newer model diesel pickup with oversized all-terrain tires. What was weird was the truck was running with no one in it. The exhaust burned my nose and started to make me queasy in the brief walk through the fumes. Upon entrance to the precinct building I was behind this huge bear of a kid dressed in fatigues and big boots. I voted and once again as I exited there was the big kid blocking my way as he had an official take his picture (as it was the first time he voted.)
I waited for them to finish then walked to my car. The big kid jumped in the huge truck (this thing must of been a 55K+ vehicle) still running truck. Once again the smell made me sick. (By the way diesel (and raw gas) smell is one of the few things that ever goes right to my head.) I was ready to comment to the kid, "well I hope your first vote was a positive experience." But I didn't. I was pretty sure he was Trump-bumkin and hoped then that it was learning experience.
