This is my 5th presidential election day as a member of this forum. Hard to believe how much has

happened since 2004...

The brutal loss in 2004 (though tame compared to 16).

The amazing feeling in 2008, and affirmation of 2012, to the darkest of the last 4 years in 2016... to what I hope will be our 1980.

Glad to have been able to spend some this time with you all!

Then I drifted away, forgot my password, had changed my email carrier, so I couldn't recover it, and had to start all over again with a new ID.

for all of my political news back then. In fact, I still rely on DU.

I had less of a presence on DU during the eight years of Obama, but came back with a vengeance during 2016.
