DU political experts or anyone, is there any chance Biden could reach 270 by tonight?

Or is everything on hold until tomorrow?

It's going to be hard to go to bed again not knowing for sure that we are positively absolutely without a shadow of a doubt going to put this thing away, at least for me it will be hard.

AZ is supposed to a data dump at 9. If that dump gives Biden the state then he would just need GA. I don't know what GA is thinking in terms of time table. Apparently NV is a no go.

and other counties of the state presumably have fewer ballots than Fulton and could also come in by midnight. John King of CNN stated that it is feasible for Biden to close the gap since these outstanding absentee ballots will overwhelmingly favor Biden.

But from the sites I am looking at it could go joes way if Nevada and Arizona are called for him tonight.

I think that would put him at 270.

maybe it's because they fear their may be people celebrating in the streets, riots, etc
Or maybe they are hoping to let another state put Biden over the top.

We are just over halfway done the mail-in ballots but I have been watching the stream and I may be wrong, but it looks like they are also tabulating some of the voting machine cartridges (am guessing that's what they are) that hold the completed paper ballots from "in person" voting on the ES&S ExpressVote XL machines. Could be from some that hadn't been done yet yesterday (there are 1703 divisions this year so with 2 machines per division, that's a lot of machines to do! ).

and I think they said they were running a bit ahead. I think they may try to get something more definitive in by tomorrow but then it would still be missing any military/overseas ballots, so I think the are trying to balance calling it for expediency vs making sure what is called includes all the votes (which might not happen tomorrow).

If nothing is called by 1 AM EST, do you think it's safe to get some shuteye without fear of missing out on anything that could happen between 1 AM and 8 tomorrow morning, or is it possible that they could announce another state during those hours in the middle of the night?

Took today to help a friend in her yard, my sister made comfort food for supper, and I'll take a hot soak to soothe sore muscles. We're watching local news and will probably watch our usual Jeopardy, etc... or a movie, as I don't think President Biden will be announced tonight. Try to do some self care and lower your stress level. Take care of you.
