To play or not to play hardball

We all have read of the fundamental issues we face: Covid deaths and crippling effects, jobs, climate change, national security, slow moving genocide by the voting people of the ReThug death cult to anyone (even themselves).

Nancy Pelosi is the current leader of Democratic hardball at the national level, as far as I know. McConnell's hardball has been more successful than the Democrats.

I believe in the next "few" days that Joe Biden, Kamala Harris will lay out the practical aspects of the new agenda.

Some of us have experienced the worst of some of the above or have been in frequent close contact with the Trumpers. Your experience is what I hope to learn from.

I ask this: To what degree should the legislators at any level play hardball ?

I look forward to the comments. (my post edited for clarity)

Start tackling those two will start to help with jobs.

As for national security.... Well, I would have never
dreamed the day would come that we would have to pressure republicans to protect our nation from outside interests, but I guess that day has came.
