Is the election going to be called today?

I think we have reached the point where the outcome is all but certain, despite what a few worry warts are saying. So what are the odds at least one network calls the election today?

1. It's possible but means really nothing

3. I think GA is probably going to finish counting today.

If it goes to Biden, it's pretty much done. And if today's batch in NV goes heavily toward Biden, we could see NV called too. Then I think Biden will definitely have enough.

AZ, NV and GA should have more or less final numbers by noon today. Also PA will be dumping a bunch of data today which may be enough to make the call there as well.

I think Joe will be giving the announcement we have all been waiting for later this afternoon or this evening.

5. unofficially, I believe so

by today, all the states will have counted all except a splattering of a combination of military, provisional, late but valid votes. Those combined would not change the margins currently held by a candidate and at that point, the certainty of the winner would be known.

7. Seems to me that if Biden takes GA or NV with no votes left to count

Fox at least would almost have to call it or admit they are unsure of Arizona.

8. AZ really doesn't seem uncertain

I think there is just so much rabble-rousing going on with Trump and his supporters that networks don't want to make anymore moves until the results are 100% certain that Biden won and Trump lost. If this was a normal election with an adult Republican who can handle electoral defeat in a mature manner, Arizona would have been called by all of the networks on election night.
