McConnell plans to do to Biden what he did to Obama - not just with judges, with cabinet nominees

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell – assuming Republicans retain the Senate, as looks likely right now – plans to block any of Joe Biden’s cabinet nominees he thinks are “radical progressives” from being confirmed.

Traditionally, an incoming president’s nominees are almost always confirmed. McConnell, who blocked more than one hundred of President Barack Obama’s judicial nominees, most infamously Merrick Garland – and then laughed and bragged about it on national television – is planning on tightly controlling Biden.

“A source close to McConnell tells Axios a Republican Senate would work with Biden on centrist nominees but no ‘radical progressives’ or ones who are controversial with conservatives,” Axios reports. “The Biden agenda would be severely restricted by GOP control.

McConnell likely would block Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) from becoming Treasury Secretary, a role she is rumored to want.

Here’s McConnell in 2019 laughing about blocking Obama’s nominees:

If Biden gets the opportunity to appoint a cabinet, he’s going to have to get around Mitch’s obstacles. It won’t be easy but it must be so done.

Go ahead and place the Cabinet with moderates. Then, make all the Deputies the ACTUAL Chairs and fire the entire Cabinet, thus moving the deputies into those chairs. While turtle boy cries.

Fight fire with fire. When in Rome, do as the Romans do, etc.

I think it would shove us down to their level, though. Would it work? Would it be worth it?

I know three weeks ago, he looked like he had one foot on a banana peel and one on a grave, but does it seem as if he might have "got better" (check the basement for captive blood donators) or if he still looks like he's just hanging on behind heavy duty make-up?

Inquiring minds, and all that.

Remember, Satan has his soul, and might still want to use him.

His face was puffy and lax, and looked slightly jaundiced. I hope. The video I saw looked like he was making an effort. He had to keep closing his mouth and taking a break between sentences. His eyes were watery as well. I think Elaine is Satan's concubine.

"check the basement for captive blood donators" LOL.

what McConnell and the republicans are doing to obstruct any progress.

They should explain what the Democratic party is trying to do to help the people

in this country.

They should explain the Democratic Platform and the lack of a republican platform.

They should do this everyday.

They should inform people that the republicans always run up the debt and the

Democratic party always has to fix the mess.

They should have charts that list the Republican presidents and the Democratic

presidents records on the economy.

They should do this everyday, but they won't.

They should expose all the lies the republican party has used to stay in power.

The lies about health care.

The lies about Social Security.

The lies about taxes.

They should do this everyday and they should be brutal !!!!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile, pick acting cabinet members. They can keep the appointment for 220 days plus another 90 days. If the Senate does not approve the nominees. The acting members stay for another 220 days and can do it once more. BY that time we should be able to take over the Senate.

The Republicans in the State Senate won't vote to confirm appointees, so the cabinet members do their jobs anyways under the title "Department Designee". The GOP even fired one designee last year...that person ran for a State Senate seat on Tuesday and won!
