Clarification about remaining Georgia votes:

Text

I think the problem we're having in Georgia right now is that the statements from the Georgia Secretary of State as to how many ballots are left do not necessarily match up with the current data on how far behind Biden is. That is, the data releases are on two *different* tracks.

NEW: Georgia Secretary of State just said LIVE on Channel 2 that there are now under 25,000 ballots left to be counted and should be done by noon today.

As of 6:20 a.m.,18,540 votes separate Trump and Biden according to SOS website: http://2wsb.tv/350ZvhX

UPDATE: Thanks to the reader who pointed out this update, which confirms the problem I thought I was seeing. So in fact, there are many more ballots left than people believed, and Biden remains on target to win in Georgia. Everyone stay calm!

UPDATE: The Secretary of State's Office says there are actually 50,000-60,000 uncounted ballots remaining as of 8:30 a.m., more than initially thought early this morning:
