I cannot stand the yo-yo he's going to win, he isn't going to win. PA is in the bag, it's going to be close. Nevada is done, not-so-fast. Blah blah blah blah blah.
My nerves are completely shot. My eyes are blood shot and I think I need a shot!
This has to end. The country can't keep sitting on pins and needles.

(4,131 posts)We are gonna win PA. All the Dem officials there have been saying it since yesterday. The math just doesnt add up for Trump.
Everything else is theatre.

(9,952 posts)From the start, it has been pretty clearly Biden momentum. I think you can relax, everyone know it is Biden.

(1,977 posts)It has been a really long four years for all of us. But I honestly don't know how I would get through another 4. You are right there really is no reason to think that this nightmare won't end. But I am scared shitless for my kids.

(3,479 posts)I'd love a glass of wine, but I want to make sure that I'm sober enough tonight to open the bottle of champagne that I've been saving for years for a SPECIAL occasion! I feel sure that I'll be opening TONIGHT!

(15,535 posts)Including me! I had to step away for several hours and go outside to rake leaves just to get some of the nervous energy abated. I have refused to turn on my TV all day because I know myself well enough to know that would only ramp up the anxiety. I check DU off and on, but even that gets me going.
I wish there was a way that DU could just ring a virtual bell when the call is official - something I can hear if I'm away from my desk. I want to honk my horn or go out in my yard and shout at the top of my lungs - at least so the trumper down the street hears me.

(1,977 posts)Yeah I am working on remodeling a couple rooms in my house and I go in and pull some nails every now and again or sweep the floor and some other things. But then I pull out my phone, Or I flip on the radio.
Ugh this is torture!

DU is one of my go-to sources.
It's so much nicer to listen to good music while I'm surfing the web than to hear the anchors jabber on and on ... and on ... and on.
And there's always Netflix. I've been on a Korean series binge lately.

(2,626 posts)I keep imagining how wonderful it will be to wake up in the morning with Biden as President. I will no longer feel compelled to check the news first thing to see what kind of awful thing tRump has said or what horrible policy he's enacted. Not to mention wondering whether he's brought us to the brink of war with his insane playground bully provocations.
We're going to have a real President. Not a reality show pretend one. Focus your thoughts there.
