Biden now within 90.5k in PA- UPDATED!!

Last edited Thu Nov 5, 2020, 06:59 PM - Edit history (1)

I'm recording updates in PA by picture now. Biden was down 107k, but since then, over a reported 36,000 votes, he netted about 16k to bring him to that 90.5k.

Those 36k votes went about 26k to Biden and 10k to Trump (72% Biden).

I'm ignoring third party votes here.

UPDATE: The next reported batch whittled Trump's lead down to 78-79k, with about 24.5k votes going to Biden and about 12,200 going to Trump (roughly 66-67% Biden over not quite 37k votes).

Did you see Sen. Casey give his overview from this morning? Plenty of ballots in Blue Territory.

saying there were still 550k remaining ballots, but when CNN investigated it turned out to be only 370k. It's caused a lot of confusion and anxiety.

13. I think many of those last Biden gains *came* from a rural county!

Crawford country, which is running R+44 increased from 72% to 87% reporting (15%, or 6,400 votes) in the last update!

The thing is, Crawford county was R+37 in 2016, and most counties are seeing a blue shift of ~2-4%.
My guess is many of the Democrats in that county voted absentee, and their votes haven't been counted yet.

I think we will see similar behavior in Cumberland (currently R+25, was R+17) and Mercer county (now R+38, was R+24) which are the two republican-leaning counties with the largest % of outstanding votes.

the difference was less than 89,000.

It's definitely going in the right direction.

Go, Joe, go!
