his Senate race. Does anyone have more info on this? ETA, he won the Democratic primary - I assume he'd caucus with Democrats? Sorry, I'm ignorant.

(67 posts)I doubt he wins but that's what he's thinking.

(40,209 posts)That is a lot of ground to make up. James Carville talked about this race this morning on MSNBC.

(13,933 posts)I'd be happily flabbergasted if he won, but I admire that he's not conceding before the votes are counted

(12,344 posts)Littled polled, but he did surprising well in them. I sent him some money because of it. Polls are so screwy this year, and mostly against us. We could luck out. Not likely, but this is 2020, so anything can happen.

(42 posts)I looked at those numbers and thought he was crushed. But apparently the votes counted were the in person ones, and the rest are the mail ins. Look at the strong pro-blue tilts for mail in votes in some other states. It might at least get close.
What percent of the remaining vote would he need to win? Just eyeballing it, maybe 65 to 70 percent? Biden has been making up huge deficits like that in PA and GA.
