Trump is in an uncontrollable rage: Mary Trump says somebody has to step in and stop her uncleNovember 5, 2020
By Bob Brigham
The presidents niece dissected her uncles highly controversial press conference during a Thursday evening appearance on MSNBC.
Anchor Lawrence ODonnell asked Mary Trump what she saw watching Donald Trumps address to the nation.
Well, were seeing a man who is in a unique position, she replied. Donald has never been in this place before where theres nobody to bail him out, theres nobody to buy him out. Hes desperate, hes flailing, and theres literally nothing he can do legitimately except to watch this play out helplessly.
This wasnt just Donald obfuscating or lying. This was Donald talking about an attempted coup, she explained. The leader of a country trying desperately to de-legitimize an election. it is obscene and somebody has to step in and stop him.

(639 posts)If Trump tries anything that stupid, the secret service will 'detain' him. Handcuffs, a gag and the broom closet.
Extraordinary rendering...why not a broom closet? Seems like a good spot.

(8,045 posts)Unfortunately, it requires that Pence and the cabinet have some sense of integrity, so we're all at the mercy of this truculent and dangerous narcissist.
I'm glad the networks are finally cutting away from the liar-in-chief. Too bad they didn't adopt this policy four and five years ago.
