(15,334 posts)If 3,500 are left and hes getting 84%, why would he need a recount? Unless my math sucks, thats a win.

(20,215 posts)So I assumed she meant 85% of the 3500 votes equalled the 2000+ to bring him up in tecount territory.

(9,998 posts)There are votes elsewhere still being counted.
And they said that whichever campaign loses will likely request a recount, as it will be within the range it's allowed.

(6,477 posts)An election official in ONE COUNTY Georgia said their were 3500 votes remaining, and that they were trending 85% for Biden. That would put him past trump, since he is currently down only 1267 votes (i.e., Trump would get about 500 while Biden would get 2900+).
But that's still well in the range of a statewide recount.
However, there are other counties still out. At least one of them (Gwinnett) will also add to Biden's total, but it's still going to be in the range of a few thousand votes.

I desire all remaining states to go to Joe! Even if not needed.
