Why do you think the networks

Have not called this race yet? I think most of us that are political junkies have seen the writing on the wall for the past 24 hours. A lot of the main poll aggregators, I.e, Nate kohn, Nate silver along with John Ralston in Nevada have been insinuating that the data is saying Biden will be elected. Is it fear of trump? Being called bias? I feel like they know what we all do and in any other election with any other candidate, just looking at the trend lines they would have already called this.

early in previous elections based on exit polling and
demographics.

Based on outlying vote, especially in PA, it’s over. Most of the time projections aren’t based on vote tally but on how much vote is left and how it’s trending.

...that Biden has an insurmountable lead in enough states to give him 270 EVs. And he doesn’t have that now. He’s leading in AZ and NV, but not yet by a wide enough margin to preclude a heavy run of Trump ballots flipping the results and, as of the moment, he’s still trailing in PA and GA.

Their reputations are riding on it. And that’s their priority, whereas our wish is to get it called as quickly as possible. But it’s better to be sure – I can well recall the sinking feeling on Election Night 2000 when the networks suddenly retracted their call of Florida for Gore.

while Biden is still trailing in PA. It's pretty clear, and has been since early Wend morning that Biden was going to win. However, calling PA means calling the election for Biden and they aren't going to do that until the votes are counted and reported that put him in front.

right, exercising, etc.) throughout this pandemic. But the preceding has been counteracted by the extra stress-drinking.

I've lost about 7 lbs since Monday of this week. Just too anxious to eat more than once a day. Probably gain it all back this weekend.
