That would help.

Republicans haven’t done much for African Americans, I think your assessment is not correct.

So let's not ask for people to vote in exchange for nothing or worse...getting screwed.

now THAT is very Trumpian. Also, ignoring Liberal/Black issues.

majority in the Senate all bets are off. Because of federalism, people need to start electing people statewide who will address this. There’s only so much a President can do nationally that will stand up to a Supreme Court challenge.

Who would vote for someone who didn't address their issues?

Ask the Rust Belt about what not addressing jobs/manufacturing/trade will do to Democrats.

This other issue must be addressed.

I know they will, fully support the Democrats and the great mission to get this done.

We can only do as much as a Senate still controlled by R's will allow. Sadly, I suspect a lot of Biden support did not include down-ballot votes for Dems. Some think only the Presidential race is important and that is going to kill us in getting some major legislation passed as well as fighting the all-encompassing redistricting efforts that the R's will control at state levels.

So, be annoyed if you want in advance before we even have the chance to TRY, but the reality is that our combined support was insufficient to ENSURE all we want and need to get done will be possible. Worse, is threats like this that will demoralize any attempts to improve our margins in 2022.

I definitely want us to try and will give this a chance. That is why I will be pushing to get this done.

I am not annoyed at all.

Liberal/Black issues must be fought for. Period. I know Joe Biden will do it, because that is what his speeches said and he convinced many he will go for it. That is why he was chosen to carry the banner. It is why other candidates didn't quite get the nod.

It's why investment in the south needs to be a priority for our party.
But, we did not do this alone. Our sisters and brothers of all stripes came out in record numbers....everywhere! We must retake the Senate to make lasting change.

Mission number 1 is to get Corona Virus under control so there ARE people alive to get the job done and reap the rewards.

AND it isn't JUST up to JOE. We all gotta keep stepping up and standing up to racism and police brutality. He has to continue to have US at his back. A President isn't all powerful if (s)he's doing the job right.

The POWER OF THE PEOPLE needs to KEEP ON KEEPING ON. Like in the 60's with constant protests and movements we have to maintain the momentum.

Yeah, DEMS keep their leader's feet to the fire so they don't forget their campaign promises, but don't give up on DEMS cause it sure as hall ain't coming from the other side.

President has to be able to say, "LOOK this is what The PEOPLE want and need." I don't even know if it is "support" as much as keeping up the mandate and keeping it in the face so he can't forget.

DUMP has BROKEN America. Putting it to rights is about BLM and so much more. DUMP shat on US ALL. Cleaning this crap up is going to take 2 Biden's, 2 more DEM terms and then to get things BETTER than before is 2 more DEM terms. We NEED TO TAKE OVER THE WHITE HOUSE, SENATE and HOUSE OF REPS for 32 years to get America fully on track to actual equality for ALL again.

Two years of total control under Trump, two years of Republican control of the senate. Why do people think it's the same as Democrats having total control of everything and not doing anything?

It's now clear the majority of white America and their accomplices are going to do everything in their power to ensure it doesn't happen. The last 4 years have made it quite clear that not voting is not a choice for us. It's become evident that it's slow going, or no going thanks to the shortsighted and bigoted zealotry of the right. If anything they've taken our choice away and we need to aim accordingly.

party and everything needs to be fixed. I think the best way to ensure this is to donate to RaphaelWarnock and Jon Ossoff so we can control the Senate. Joe can write Executive Orders on some stuff but we need legislation set in stone.
