They said that the Biden team is going forward with the assumption that they won't get any cooperation from Trump. Smart move.

I've read elsewhere, however, that behind the scenes, some of his people may assist anyway, regardless of whether of not he approves. They felt that continuity was more important than Trump's feelings. We'll see.

Speaking of, two senate seats, and with them who has power, will be decided on January 5.

Wonder, what's McConnell going to offer voters as the Republican holocaust's deaths and economic devastation grow through the holiday season? A quarter millions deaths and blocking aid before this election didn't hurt him with their intractably loyal voters.

One of the seats was always going to end up in a runoff, so I think he intentionally held off on the stimulus bill until after the election to try to buy off voters.

have Dems back it big, like huge, even bigly, then you know who will veto it out of spite. We need the stimulus, but if the lame duck thought it was good for Democrats you know what will happen. This is cold, but worst case no stimulus till February, right now I don't see it any sooner than January.

I was a Warren supporter, but in this moment, when the fact that Biden has been through a transition from both sides ... damn, I’m glad it’s him. The Trump folks are going to do nothing for/with them.

Which they were pleasantly surprised to see.

Im not worried at all w the transition give the depth &breadth of talent Joe has at his disposal, not to mention the folks on his vp staff during the 8 previous years in office.

although I personally favored Warren.

I realized that we needed Biden's direct personal experience and knowledge of the executive branch to deal with the mess Trump had created and the obstacles that Trump would likely set up.

abroad, but I do look at foreign websites and listen to foreign broadcasts. They've been nervous all along, but the Trump speech at 2 am on election night got them really alarmed. They are also concerned about the number of votes Trump got and how his followers will react to a Biden win.

So am I.

and with input from other countries, to combat this pandemic!

Actual weekly briefings, not ego boosting rallies. PSAs. We need to know what is working (example: some schools have been open and are very successful in preventing spread) and what isn't.

I hope career qualified expert professionals purged by Trump and/or those that left in disgust, are willing to come back and serve this Nation. We need them and new qualified workers.

We need an adult in the Whitehouse right now to deal with the Covid crisis. This is scary and tRump is making it even worse then his handling of it up till now by ignoring it. They need to let President Biden take over immediately and just ignore the whining baby throwing his tantrums.

who, in February, will no longer be under the iron fist of tRump and go back to doing their jobs right.

I suspect one of our most difficult tasks will be reassembling our diplomatic corps, but Joe and Kamala will appoint managers to get-er-done efficiently.

Fat Donnie always whines about the Deep State. His employees and appointees constitute the deep shit he has brought to the our country.

Number Two: Summon Moscow Mitch to the WH and lay down the law -- he will confirm every one of Biden's cabinet appointees without delay. He will bring up all House legislation for a vote, without exception. He will return Biden's phone calls as soon as he gets them (he used to ignore Obama's.)

Number Three: Call a fumigator to clean the People's House from top to bottom.

Number Four: Have a proper ceremony to hang Barack Obama's portrait in the WH, which Trump was too petty to do.

Number Five: Publicly fire the Postmaster General.
