Roberts is on record saying courts don't determine election rules or laws; state legislatures do. That was pretty clearly a warning to Trump that they weren't likely to intervene.

Plus, to date, his lawsuits are laughable. He should probably come up with a reason if he wants them to be taken seriously other than "voters hurt my feelings".
