PA is looking good for Biden but it shouldn't be called until Biden's lead grows a bit more.

When they see a margin above that number, so they know it can't change the outcome, then they call it. Absentee ballots can take days.

Plenty of states have been called long long long before it was a mathematical certainty.

For example FL was called when Trump was up 4% but 9% of the votes were still outstanding. They look at the trends and the ratio the votes are breaking and where the remaining votes are from. It is unusual for them to be taking this long.

Of course they have a captive audience now and those cheeseburger ads are making bank.

They and everyone else knows Biden will win PA, but will probably stretch it out for ratings.

Unlike with AZ, with PA the data is clear and consistent - the outstanding ballots are mail-ins and heavily blue, and once Joe passed Trump here he was never looking back. It's over.

Hell they called VA while Trump was still leading Biden because it wasn't by enough in the areas that reported (red) vs the areas that hadn't been reported (blue).

The idea that you can't call a state until the margin is greater than the total votes remaining is not reflected in how ANY state has been called until these final four.

Everyone is watching. They’ll call it soon enough but they have a significant financial incentive to drag it out.

Ultimately calling it doesn’t matter. We knew on Wednesday that Joe was going to win. Not sure why everyone was so stressed.
