I just got off a conference call with India.

It was a technical conversation, but our Indian colleagues ended the meeting by saying that they, and the whole world, is waiting to celebrate the end of Trump.

They hear the same thing from all their international contacts outside of India and the US.

The whole world wants it to be official.

Like you said, perhaps one day you'll be able to help someone back in payment, that is, pay it forward. Earl, bless his heart agreed w/ my request to gift you a membership and he too, deserves credit too.

Take care, and I look forward to perhaps seeing you in the many varied discussions on DU that make it so interesting to all of us.

Don't know why they should care though. One of our sister companies is there, plus all of our SAP programmers/consultants, which is the group I deal with. When I conference with them they will sometimes bring up rump and say they support him, and I'll ask, "Why? I don't", and that ends it.

...brings them up.

That's what happened in this case.

People I respect a great deal like Modi, generally because of their religious views.

To me, he's Trump lite, and my understanding is that he and Trump, unlike most world leaders other than dictators like Putin, got along.

It would be too much to expect a country with well over a billion people to be politically homogenous.

This said, there were several Indian teams on the call, as well as other American companies. Everyone spontaneously agreed with laughter that the world cannot wait to be rid of Trump.

Yes, hard to explain the electoral college.

Someone even questioned the old system of voting by mail instead of online.

I explained that we are worry about hacking and that, not all voters have access to the Internet.

Later I was wondering whether if voting online can provide a trail to check.

I also think trumpers need to be reminded that federal election results weren't known across the US on election day for the first century plus.
