Pete Williams pretending Trump's potential lawsuits could give him PA...

It's ridiculous. I get reporting about the lawsuit but it's ridiculous to pretend that these lawsuits have much merit and, more importantly, will alter the total if they somehow get SC approval.

The two lawsuits have to do with ballots postmarked by election day but delivered after the election, which have been segregated, and are not included in any count right now, and the other about curating ballots in two counties that might not be legal under state law but we're looking at probably a few thousand votes at most.

None of this is going to change who wins PA and it's disingenuous of Williams to imply it could.

In 1986, Williams was hired as press secretary and legislative assistant in the staff of U.S. Representative Dick Cheney. Williams was appointed Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs in 1989, following Cheney's appointment as United States Secretary of Defense, and worked as press secretary of the Defense Department.

While serving as a Pentagon spokesperson, he was accused of allegedly working to cover up the large-scale irregular military activities that had occurred during the US invasion of Panama under the pretense of apprehending Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega,

"In 1986, Williams became press secretary for U.S. Representative Dick Cheney and followed Cheney to the United States Department of Defense as Cheney became United States Secretary of Defense to be the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs in 1989 during the George H. If there’s an issue with a ballot where I live, people have a chance to cure it, and it can be treated as a provisional ballot. I’d think that would be SOP, but maybe in PA this should be codified to prevent stuff like this.

The longer this drags on, the more creative they’re going to get with these lawsuits.

that was heard prior to the election. The court ruled the ballots could be accepted but needed to be separated from the regular ballots. After the election the case could be re-assessed as to whether those ballots would be counted. I heard something...I think...unless I was dreaming, about the PA legislature, and its ability to step in and do a dastardly deed. I do not think the media is responsible for any of this, and should not be blamed. Calling the election does not make it so.

...was the Trumpers saying some voters with “questionable” ballots were able to cure any deficiencies by election officials. Trump’s saying that goes against the law, but officials are saying there’s nothing in the law that explicitly prohibits this. These ballots were ordered to be provisional, which is usually what happens anyway.

Now CNN is saying it’s about late arriving ballots.

I give up.

the spoiled/provisional ballots favor Biden enough to call the state for Biden. It's an unusually high number.

Over and over again, watching Trump try to come up with some new angle that turns the tables in Pennsylvania, and time after time it falls apart again. We're getting into muon territory for how long these hare-brained schemes survive the light of day. It draws out the energy of the Trump supporters, wasting it in futile hopes. By the time Pennsylvania is called for Biden, they should be exhausted.

Provisional ballots usually happen when someone didn’t get their mail in ballot in time. So would probably skew Democrat, if anything.

There are 15k provisional in Allegheny that should skew Democrat. Also stories of Dems (esp. African-Americans in Delaware County) voting provisional instead of using mail ballot.
